Governor Yakowa of Kaduna, former NSA Azazi die in helicopter crash

The Governor of Kaduna State, Patrick Yakowa and the former National Security Adviser, Andrew Owoye Azazi, have lost their lives in a helicopter crash, that took place today in Bayelsa State.
The National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA), earlier in the day, confirmed that they had begun a search for a crashed helicopter.
The location of the crash, is a swampy location near Okoroba community in Nembe local government area of the state. Sources say the chopper, was coveying “some major political figures”, but as at this time, we cannot confirm the other casualties involved. The occupants were heading to Port Harcourt, after attending the burial ceremony of the father to one of President Goodluck Jonathan’s aide, Mr. Oronto Douglas.
This news comes over a month, after Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba State, crashed his plane. He has since been moved to a German hospital, where reports say he is brain-damaged and cannot recognize his visitors or talk.
