In the new increment released by the school administration, medical students are to pay a tuition fee of N3 million, Law, N2 million, Accounting, N1.5 million, Nursing N1 million and other courses, N860,000.
Out of fear for being suspended if they protest in person, the students took to the internet to let off the steam.
One of the students said, “I am a student of Babcock University(mass communication) I am going to 200 level next semester and my school fees amounts to N747,300 as opposed to N584,000.
Babcock University is a private-Christian Nigerian university owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria and claims to be a non-profit institution.
